Christmas Day is a public holiday celebrated by billions of people in the world by vast majority of Christians to commemorate the birthday of Jesus Christ in the month of December. There are singnging of joyous hymns of Christmas carols. Some group of people goes from house to house to perform by singnging Christmas songs wherein the housekeeper or owner give a special tokens of appreciation because of the joy they bring. A feast is being prepared for the Christmas Eve which is on midnight by 12 am.There is a big family gathering to celebrate the birth of a Child called Jesus believed by Christians as the Son of God , Savior and Messiah! It is commemorated with gift-giving , games, sharing of delicious meals by the family ,relatives and friends…and more lots of fun!
A New Calendar Year begins. A time where the first month of the year begins …It’s January!
The 1st day of January is a national holiday!It’s New Year’s Day! January 1st is mostly widely used by Nations althoughly there are some countires has their own New Year Calendar. This is culminated at midnight of Dec. 31 to welcome the beginning of January 1st with firecrackers around the city. The kids blow their horns! People are shouting happily, singing, dancing and jumping , all kinds of ways to celebrate on a special gathering like parties, shows, concerts.Most, go to Church or to a prayer meeting before midnight basically to offer a thanksgiving sacrifice to God Who gave another new day of the first new year of our lives. It is also celebrated likewise as in Christmas Eve with a feast of foods and delicious meals. The family, relatives and friends are gathered together!
June, a day observed to honour our father and celebrating Fatherhood!Fathers deserved a Day of Recognition. The classic Father’s Day gift is Necktie.Masculine gifts like wine, tobacco, shirts, greeting cards with a necktie drawing,image or picture. The most important thing to celebrate at this day is to let our Father’s feel how they are loved so much by his family. May, a day observed to honour our mother and celebrating Motherhood!Mothers are much appreciated being the Light of the Home! She is the Role Model of nurturing the innocent mind of her children. As it is always said, our first Teacher is our Mother! She has the responsibility to make sure there are meals in the table…as they say, “Appreciate the foods that your mother cook because there are kids without food and there are kids without mothers “. She looked after and cared her children when they are ill. She help her husband on the management of the responsibilities for the family like financially, emotionally , socially and spiritually.
